Appraiser/Collection Clerk 

Hartley County Appraisal District is looking to hire an appraiser/collection clerk. This position is part-time with opportunity to move to full-time appraiser/collector. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills. Our clerk will be asked to input data, collect tax payments, and communicate information with customers, file documentation, and other duties as assigned by the Chief Appraiser. He/she will need to possess a proficiency in Word and Excel. Successful candidates offered a full-time position will be switched from clerk to appraiser and will be asked to complete the Registered Professional Appraiser and Registered Profession Tax Assessor Collector certifications.
