The Hood Central Appraisal District has an immediate opening in the appraisal department. Position requirements include: • Minimum five years customer service experience working in a fast-paced office environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong math skills and sharp attention to detail • Be able to resolve conflicts in a professional and efficient manner • Computer skills including but not limited to knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Dependable transportation for field work Background working in residential housing appraisal, construction estimation or real estate a major plus.
